Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to all mobile and web apps published by appwickler ("we", "us", "our"), including JLPT Test N5–N4–N3–N2–N1, Shadow Boxing & Workout, Synology Photos Cleaner, and Sony Alpha Photos Importer (each an "App"). By downloading, installing or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and any applicable app store terms (Apple App Store or Google Play).

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Some Apps offer auto-renewing subscriptions or one-time in-app purchases that unlock additional features or content ("Premium Features").

  • Payment. Purchases are billed by and processed through the app store account you use to download the App (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not process or store your payment details.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Free trials. If a subscription includes a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited once you purchase a paid subscription, where offered by the app store.
  • Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
  • Refunds. All billing is handled by Apple or Google. Refund requests are subject to their respective policies; please contact Apple or Google support directly to request a refund.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any changes will be communicated in advance in accordance with the applicable app store's requirements and will apply to future billing periods only.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the App, including by reverse engineering, decompiling, redistributing, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device and account you use to access the App.

4. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics and content, is owned by appwickler or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, appwickler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "last updated" date below reflects the latest revision.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
